ALTUM Large Investment Program (Latvia)
Capital rebates of 5–30% (up to €10M) for exporting manufacturers investing €10M+ in Latvian production — the program behind CEWOOD, Stiga RM, and Brabantia's plants.
About this grant
Latvia's flagship instrument for major manufacturing investments: exporting production companies investing €10 million or more receive loans with capital rebates of 5–30% of eligible investment, capped at €10 million per project, with terms up to 20 years. The current round carries €67 million and explicitly includes defense/dual-use industrial projects and large agricultural investment projects. Across its first three rounds the program signed 23 contracts worth €153M in support, backing plants for CEWOOD, Stiga RM, Vilvi Group, Brabantia, and Valmieras stikla šķiedra. As with all rebate instruments, the project must not have commenced before the application is submitted.
