About this grant
NGI Sargasso is a transatlantic collaboration program funded by the European Commission under the Next Generation Internet initiative. It bridges European and US open-source communities, funding interoperable technologies that strengthen internet resilience, privacy, and decentralization. Projects involving decentralized protocols, privacy-preserving computation, federated identity, and blockchain-based coordination mechanisms are particularly welcome. The program supports both new development and contributions to existing open-source ecosystems.
